Bending Bridge Farm LLC is owned and operated by Cameron Pedersen and Audrey Fisher-Pedersen. We met while apprenticing at New Morning Farm in Hustontown PA. We are very fortunate that Cameron’s father, Carl, owns land in Franklin County PA. In 2009, we began renting the farmhouse and growing about a dozen varieties of vegetables on half an acre. We use organic growing methods and expect to be certified organic by spring 2010. During our second season we are growing a great variety of vegetables, planting small fruits such as raspberries and blueberries, and continuing to build the quality of our soil for the future.
As new farmers, we are focused on learning about our land and the crops that grow well here. We are also committed to creating real community around the enjoyment of delicious, healthy food. Our goal is to build a farm business that is environmentally and financially sustainable, while continuing to increase the affordability and accessibility of our products.
