Our CSA
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between consumers and producers. Consumers, referred to as members, pay the farmer in advance of the growing season. As shareholders in the business, members get a “share” of the harvest each week. CSA is great for farmers--they can acquire capital when they need it most and plant according to consumer demand. CSA is great for members too--they receive a variety of high-quality produce, a good value for their money, and a deeper sense of connection to their food.

Meeting the families who buy our produce is incredibly rewarding. Through our markets and CSA, we are genuinely striving to build a community around the enjoyment of fresh, healthy food. We believe that eating is much more than satisfying hunger—preparing and enjoying a meal is social, even spiritual, and deserves our care and attention. We also know that variety, selection, and convenience is important to everyone. Therefore, we have created a unique CSA that allows you to choose the contents of your share each week.

This growing season, we are offering the Mercersburg Area CSA (with share delivery to Mercersburg PA and Greencastle PA) and the Washington Area CSA (with share delivery to Bethesda MD and the Tenleytown neighborhood in Washington DC).
