Sustainable agriculture is as much about relationships as it is about organic farming techniques. For small farms and independent businesses to thrive, we must re-build our food system on the foundation of a strong local economy and make new connections between growers, processors, distributors, and consumers. Direct-marketing by farmers to consumers is one way agriculture can stay financially viable and ecologically sustainable. We meet our customers face-to-face each week at our farmers markets and through our Community Supported Agriculture program.
